In this episode, Mr Lens starts out by have a gripe at his current internet problem which means he has to take the computer to an internet cafe to upload this week’s show, and reads a brief email from Neil Kramer requesting more roamcasts. This continues into the questions and answers session with Gyrus continued from last week, in which the murder rates of both the hunter gatherer and modern societies are compared to whether or not the individuals are happier or more ecologically minded in one or the other culture. During this session, Gyrus mentions his influence by Terence McKenna’s ‘Food of the Gods’ and tells of a tribal man asking for a ride in a modern man’s aeroplane specifically so he could drop rocks on a rival village! In the aftermath, Mr Lens mentions that he feels more alive living in a part of London where he is more likely to get murdered than if he lived in a dull middle class suburb!
