In this episode, Opaque plays part 1 of the lecture by Dale Pendell, and no shownotes could do this talk justice, except to keep it simple by saying the theme is fire - hot, cold, wet and dry fire. He reads out a few pieces of his own poetry, and excerpts of stories he is writing, and even though a lot of it may seem incomprehensible to the untrained ear, there is something Blakean about it that captures the imagination.

Before the talk, Opaque mentions that Max Freakout was at the talk, and this lead to a chat between Opaque, Max and mutual friend Calen in a sort of ‘Trialoguing’, which will feature on a future episode. Also, BBC documentary maker Bruce Parry was at the talk, and Opaque could not resist getting him to record a jingle. Listen out for that during the segway leading to the talk! This is followed by reading a few emails.
